The Philippine Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) is considering the regulatory framework for Real World Asset (RWA) tokenization, according to Commissioner Rogelio Quevedo.
Quevedo highlighted that tokenized assets could provide Filipinos with more legitimate investment options, potentially steering them away from scams.
