Secret Network has reported a significant security breach involving its Axelar bridge, where an infinite-mint exploit resulted in a theft of $4.67 million.

The exploit went unnoticed for a period of seven days, raising concerns about the security measures in place.

Currently, about $770,000 of the stolen funds remain in the attacker's Axelar wallet, but Axelar has declined to take action to freeze these funds.
